Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a IT Helpdesk Officer to join our operation in Burnie.
We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Officer to be responsible for effective resolution of Level 1 and 2 IT Service Desk issues.
Day to day
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Coordination and resolution of help desk requests
- Communicating with and supporting users with IT issues
- Install & configure operating systems, applications, and associated licencing
- Maintaining hardware and making recommendations for replacement
- Working in a small team under coordination of IT Superintendent
- Having a continuous improvement focus
Who you are
To be successful in this role you have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and a keenness to learn
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies
- Some experience using a Helpdesk ticketing system is preferable
