Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join our operation in Burnie.
This position is an integral part of the Finance team handling the preparation, implementation, reporting and review of actual monthly results, budgets and forecasts. Interaction with onsite staff will be required to support the management team with cost management, analysis and reporting.

Day to day
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assist with the distribution and development of budget and forecasting requirements to line management
- Prepare monthly reports, including cost reports, capital expenditure, cashflow forecasts and ancillary reports
- Financial analysis and evaluations, including NPV, payback and IRR for capital investment projects
- Assist with the monitoring of cost performance on major projects
- Commercial analysis and identification of cost reduction opportunities/strategies
Who you are
To be successful in this role you have:
- Tertiary qualification in business, economics, accounting or related discipline
- CPA/CA or associated professional association (or working towards)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance-related role
- Analytical mindset and excellent analytical skills – challenge the status quo
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to establish and maintain effective communication channels
- Proficient user of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI will be viewed favourably
