Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Senior Sales and Marketing Analyst – Iron Ore to join our operation in Burnie.
Grange Resources Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Sales and Marketing Analyst to join our Tasmanian operations. This is a pivotal role within the marketing and shipping team, supporting our iron ore product sales and shipping operations.
Day to day
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Analyse and report on iron ore and freight pricing using market indices and pricing models.
- Administer tenders and contracts for the sale and shipment of iron ore products and provide strategic market insights to maximise value.
- Prepare and manage sales and shipping documentation, including letters of credit and invoices.
- Coordinate and oversee shipping schedules, laycans, and vessel tracking.
- Manage monthly sales financial close, including general ledger reconciliations, royalty calculations and board reports.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Who you are
To be successful in this role you have:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar field.
- 2–3 years' experience in a finance or commercial analysis role.
- Commercial acumen with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience in iron ore operations or a similar role would be advantageous.

Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contracting process.
Burnie
Burnie Office is the Registered Head Office for the Grange organisation. Based in the Burnie central business district it is home to various business functions including Finance, IT, HR, and Environment.
